Keesha Sharp
Tyler Perry's film Why Did I Get Married is also a film that features her. Perry, Janet Jackson and the indie film Frozen Peas are all starring with her. Other film credits for her are The 636 (for which she received the award for Best Actress during the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, and American Adobo. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha began her career as a stage actress after completing her studies at the Cum Laude Conservatory with an B.F.A. The actress performed on Carousel, the Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as a debut Off-Broadway production of Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the interactive show Eat the Runt. Keesha was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida along with Thunder Knockin' and Jitney. Her other roles included Big Street, Suburb, The Producers and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Keesha performed in the show with August Wilson. Apart from her roles on the screen and stage, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" as well as the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is also the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll as well as having a number of new original projects currently in the making. The popularity of her debut album "Santa Baby" and "Santa Baby," she's creating a full-length album showcasing her amazing voice.
