Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically in her early years and entered the second grade when she was five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma at Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone and her aunt in 1977, made the move in New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. While in Europe Stone was able to spend a whole year living in Milano as well as Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling in Europe which led her to pursue acting while in the country. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" that was a film with mixed reviews aged twenty.
